Airport DOOM! American Eagle Embraer 145 Hit A Deer During Take Off From Williamsport Regional Airport, Pennsylvania

American Eagle Embraer 145 hit a deer during take off from Williamsport Regional Airport, Pennsylvania

An American Eagle jet with 43 passengers was forced to abort a takeoff Tuesday morning when it struck a deer at the Williamsport Regional Airport in Montoursville. None of the passengers headed to Philadelphia was injured and they either were rebooked on a later flight or made other travel arrangements. The 50-seat Embraer 145 twin-engine jet with a crew of three was headed down the runway shortly after 6 a.m. when its running gear struck a buck, airport Executive Director Thomas J. Hart said.A visual inspection revealed only minor damage but the plane will be thoroughly checked at a maintenance facility before it is returned to service, an American Airlines spokeswoman said. The deer, which was killed, must have jumped the perimeter fence, Hart said. It has been years since a deer was seen on the airport, he said. American Eagle, formerly US Airways Express, is operated by Piedmont Airlines, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the American Airlines Group. Source

Our Lady of La Salette On The Stars Will Lose Their Regular Motion: Odd Asteroid in Wrong-way Orbit Around Sun Came From Deep Space

The Stars Will Lose Their Regular Motion Our Lady of La Salette 19 Sept. 1846 (Published by Mélanie 1879)     Rogue asteroid orbits the WRONG WAY around the sun while routinely dodging Jupiter and 6,000 other space rocks For at least a million years, a lone asteroid has been orbiting the 'wrong' way around the sun, a new study has found.  The cosmic game of chicken incorporates giant planet Jupiter and about 6,000 other asteroids, known as the 'Trojan asteroids', sharing the planet's space.  The asteroid is the only one in the solar system known to have an opposite, or 'retrograde', orbit around the sun while sharing a planet's orbital space.  Almost all of the million-or-so known asteroids in our solar system travel around the sun in the same direction as Earth and the other planets.   Fewer than 100 break this orbital rule, and asteroid 2015 BZ509 - 'BZ' for short - is one of the select few.  BZ moves against the flow of all other asteroids i…
